Proper form: Belly-button pulled in, back straight, shoulders back, soft bend in knees.
Spinning the hoop: Start with the Hoop on the small of your back. With right hand, push hoop to left with a strong push. (some leftys go the other way.) In order to effectively get the hoop spinning you need to move your core side to side or front to back....pressing into the hoop as it comes around. Think of your body in a standing plank position and rocking in the knees.
Keeping your hoop up: If you move your hips in a circle, the hoop will fall straight down. If you feel the hoop start to drop, just bend your knees and get under it.
